I am a small town girl who grew up loving family, photography, and any and all travel! I’ve made treks all over the USA and beyond. I am always ready for a new adventure – my bags are packed and ready!

 I grew up in a family of story tellers. Whenever anyone would travel, it was a family tradition to all gather around the supper table afterwards to hear their stories and look at the pictures they took. Most people tell stories through words, explaining how they felt in the moment. I, however one day I got behind a camera and found my storytelling “voice” in light, shadow, color, and focus. Photography tells a story in a way that words just can’t! It’s something people can look at to remember a feeling that with time they had forgotten but remember with what only an image can obtain forever!

Photography was something that interested me even at a young age. I started making my friends pose in fields of flowers when I was about ten. I got my first professional camera when I was 16 and headed to Beijing, China, and from about then on decided it was a career worth pursuing.

  All in all I want my photography to focus on telling YOUR story through something more than just words. It’s so important to me to listen to you and discover   what’s important about you, your family, and your life. I want to capture passions, being in love and the laughs people share with each other. Lastly, I want to provide you with a piece of art for your wall, for you to reflect back on, and save forever! Photography tells stories, what’s yours?
